Lessons and Tuition

Consistent, predictable, hassle-free.

Your Lesson

When studying voice, a consistent and reliable schedule is important.  That’s what you’ll get when you become an EVS member.  Your time will be reserved for YOU.

EVS also understands the life schedule of the musician, and has built-in flexibility that enables you to rearrange your schedule (via an online calendar) in advance of those occasions when gigs, auditions, concerts, or tech week rehearsals conflict with your regularly reserved lesson time.

How do I sign up for lessons?
Step one is to request a discovery session by clicking below:

Tuition

EVS Tuition is set up on an AutoPay basis (via Credit Card or Automatic Checking Account withdrawal) through My Music Staff and their secure payment processing company, Stripe.  AutoPay is available through both Credit Card or Automatic Checking Account withdrawals on the first of every month. Because the total lessons in the term are divided evenly over the months of the term, the amount is the same every month…no need to remember to write a check or budget differently depending on the number of weeks or lessons.

When weather conditions, contagious illness, distance, or simple convenience make an in-person lesson at EVS more difficult (or if you are gigging out of town or on tour and need a vocal “check-in”), your lesson can still occur virtually via Zoom or other online video format.

There will be 32 lessons included in the the 2023-24 term, and all lessons between December 18, 2023 and Feb 1, 2024 will move to an online format, as I will be teaching from Florida during that time.
*Dates are subject to change if travel plans change or unforeseen conflicts/illnesses arise, but will hopefully stay as stated.

Monthly tuition is charged on the 1st of every month and may be paid by one of the following AutoPay methods:

1. Automatic Credit Card charge on the first of the month (Sept – May) via STRIPE.
2. Automatic ACH (Checking Account Withdrawal) on the first of the month via STRIPE.

Annual Studio Administration Fee/Summer Registration Fee:  A yearly administration fee of $85 per student is due on September 1 each Fall to help offset the cost of music, technology, and materials.  Singers beginning lessons after September will be charged when lessons begin.  Those who are new to the studio in the summer session or returning to the studio but not a part of the previous academic year will be charged a $25 registration fee at the time of signup for lessons in the summer session. Current EVS students (continuing uninterrupted from the academic year) will not be charged a fee to continue through the summer session.

Additional Fees: The tuition fee does not include music books, sheet music, accompanist fees, special masterclass participation fees or fees for contests or recording sessions. A $5 per week late fee will be assessed for payments that do not arrive by the due date of the first of the month. Repeated late payments or NSF ACH withdrawals will require your method of payment to be switched to automatic monthly credit card withdrawal.
